EGG COLLECTOR/LIVE FEEDS HARVESTER

Egg collection and Live Feeds Culture are a key to successful hatchery operation. Gemini Fiberglass Inc. and partner Oceans Design Inc. have teamed up to design and fabricate custom egg collectors and live feeds harvesters to improve these processes for your hatchery.

Conical and rectangular conical bottom harvesters can be made from our standard fiberglass tank molds or we can customize a tank to meet the requirements of your facility. The key to the design is to make collecting and concentrating fragile eggs and live feeds a simple, gentle and efficient operation.

Harvesters and windows sized to discharge water through the screens at a velocity that will not impinge the eggs on the screen.

Water level is controlled via an external standpipe and eggs are concentrated in the bottom of conical harvester. The bottom of the harvester is connected to a valve outside the outer tank by a flexible hose. The eggs are gently drained into a collection bucket for disinfection and stocking
